Two little girls
Monday, April 21st, 2008There were two little girls from both sides of town
One’s face was white, the others was brown
They were really quite different or so they did think
Until they discovered , how much they loved pink
And both did not notice, not at first glance
That each of them had a real love of dance
Each girl had a brother, a father a mother
What else was the same about one another?
The more that they talked to each other that day
the more that they learned they had so much to say
We’re really not different , no not much at all
except that you’re short and I seem to be tall
So the girl with the brown face and the girl with the white
dressed up in pink tutu’s and danced in the light
And both girls decided that different’s okay
and hugged as they said , I like you that way
