Mimi’s Silly Poetry

I’ve been stuck in my bed, a bad cold in my head

      a fever of a hundred and two

My mom called the Doc who lived down the block

      he said I might have the flu

We better go there, you’ll get the right care

    OH NO! what am I gonna do??

I never forgot when he gave me a shot and my

     butt  was exposed to the air.

An apple a day keeps the doctor away

     My Grandmother once told me so,

Well I have a hunch if I eat a whole bunch,

      maybe I won’t have to go…..
