A Cure For Writer’s Block
Sometimes it’s difficult to come up with ideas for a journal or blog. Particularly if the aim is to be humorous. It occurs to me that the best way to combat that sort of writer’s block is to engineer your life in such a way that you’re likely to be placed into comedic situations.
For instance, when choosing a car, even if you can afford the latest model, try buying a barely functioning jalopy. You’re guaranteed to eventually find yourself having all sorts of amusing adventures as it breaks down.
Don’t take a job at a prosperous company, instead pick one that’s failing, barely holding itself above water. Who knows what crazy antics management with concoct to try and keep it alive.
When entering into romantic relationships, be sure to get involved with the most neurotic, half sane partner you can find. Certain to be an endless source of amusement.
Follow this advice, writers, and you’ll never be at a loss for material again.
