Week 23 - Impossible Dreams 8

Episode 1

The Adventures of Coyote Man

Coyote Man and Pan Boy in...

Terror of the Illusion Ray

Coyote Man speeds into action in the Coyote Mobile, accompanied by his faithful sidekick, Pan Boy.

"Where are we heading tonight, Coyote Man?" Pan Boy asks.

"To one of the secret bases of my arch nemesis, Captain Camouflage!"

"That villain! He's a wily one! What's his scheme this time?"

"It's his most dastardly plot yet. He's built a space based illusion ray, composed of three components. If he succeeds in launching all of them, his henchmen will assemble them in orbit."

"Good gravy! What'll happen if they do?"

"He'll aim the illusion ray at North America. It's powerful enough to affect the entire continent, clouding the minds of millions. Women will perceive their husbands as wild animals. Children will see their parents as fearsome monsters. Drivers will view brick walls as open highway. During the resulting chaos, Captain Camouflage and his minions will seize control of the government."

"Gosh, Coyote Man! How can we stop him?"

"I've learned that the first component is due to be launched tonight, from one of his secret bases. That's where we're heading..." With an earsplitting screech, the Coyote Mobile zooms to the left. "In fact, we're here now."

"Gee! To my eyes, this appears to be an ordinary shopping mall."

"Just one of Captain Camouflage's illusions, my young friend. Fortunately, my Mystical Talisman renders me immune to such legerdemain."

"Wow, Coyote Man! I didn't know you had a Mystical Talisman!"

"I'll fill you in on the details later, Pan Boy. For now..." He leans back his head and gives a mighty yell.

"The Coyote Howl!" Pan Boy says.

They leap from the car and run toward the base.

"To action!" Coyote Man shouts.
