Week 11 - The Rude Laptop
Episode 5
Rantz and Liza sit on the couch in their living room.
“Powell figured out what was making my laptop type out those idiotic messages,” Rantz says. “It wasn’t really a virus. It was just a regular program that was running in the background.”
“If it wasn’t a virus, how’d it get on in the first place?” Liza asks.
“Someone must have installed it… I know I didn’t… so the only possibilities are you or Hal…”
“Don’t look at me!”
“I could’ve got in real trouble at work. Some of those messages were pretty crude…”
“Like what?”
“Like… I think the worst was ‘No matter how you shake and dance, the last poop comes out in your pants’.”
“Eww… That’s not even funny…”
“It is if you’re thirteen years old…” Rantz shakes his head. “I don’t know what it is with Hal… Me and him… We used to be such buddies… Now, we can’t even sit in the same room without fighting…”
“It’s just the age…”
“I don’t know what I should do about that program. Powell got rid of it, but it could’ve been really embarrassing.”
“You have to punish Hal. He’s got to learn that he’s responsible for his actions.”
“I just hate the thought of a whole ‘nother argument. I’m tempted to just ignore it, not even mention that it happened… That’d ruin half his fun anyway…”
“You have to punish him.”
Rantz sighs. “I guess you’re right…” He gets up. “Anyway, I’ve gotta go to the bathroom.”
“Okay.” She grins. “Watch out for that last poop…”
“Ha Ha.” He leaves.
