Episode 1
Hal exchanges instant messages with his friend Mark Rusk, whose on-line name is “Packed Heat”. Hal and Mark compete together in “Death Zone 2”. Hal’s nom-de-guerre is “Entrail Lad”
Entrail Lad: I’m so psyched! My dad’s finally gonna let us get a new computer!
Packed Heat: Awesome!
Entrail Lad: I’ll put together a network and then I can get death matches going inside the house!
Packed Heat: What type of machine you gonna pick up?
Entrail Lad: I don’t know. My dad’s taking care of it. He’s out right now shopping for one.
Packed Heat: Dude! What the F---! Why aren’t you with him?!?
Entrail Lad: He went on his way from work. What do I want to be there anyway? I got better things to do.
Packed Heat: You can’t let dads buy computers by themselves! They don’t know anything!
Entrail Lad: He doesn’t need to know anything. Just pick something up. Long as it runs Death Zone II.
Packed Heat: Man! You’re such a girl! Don’t you know nothing! Your dad’s gonna come home with some discount piece of shit that can’t run squat!
Entrail Lad: F---! You’re right!
Packed Heat: You think your dad cares about what video card you get? All dad’s care about is f---ing Microsoft Excel and some golf shit and solitaire! He’s not gonna worry about Ram or hard drive space or nothing!
Entrail Lad: You’re right! F---!
Packed Heat: You are such a girl!
