Episode 2

Week 5 – The Can – Part 3 - Episode 2

“Now, son,” Judge Sinarate says softly, “why don’t you tell me exactly what happened, in your own words? Don’t worry, you have nothing to be afraid of.”

“N’chkala b’tishalim forecktish,” the garbage man says. “Semblish torepel b’tishalia!”

The judge shakes his head. “I understand. It must have been terrible for you.”

The garbage man nods. “Sh’lapet forecktish porsenemblia h’allemba fortish!”

“Horrible, horrible…” the judge says, staring coldly at Rantz.

“Sh’lapet porsenemblia…”

“All right, take a seat son.” The judge glances at the bailiff. “Before I find the defendant guilty… I mean, before I pronounce sentence, I suppose I should look at the evidence… Bring it in.”

The bailiff nods and steps out. A few seconds later he returns, carrying the dilapidated, beat up garbage can.

“Bring it up here,” the judge says. “Let me see…” He gasps and leaps to his feet. He runs to examine the can. “My God!” He turns to Rantz. “Do you have any idea what you’ve got here?”

Rantz and Liza stare dumbly at him.

The judge runs his hand gently down the side of the can. “This is a 1943 Morrison Le Coup!”
